Hey there everyone! Happy Saturday.
Sorry for the lack of post last week, we were busy getting situated and setting up our NEW PRODUCT LINE!
Style Lounge Salon now proudly carries Kerastase!
For those of you who know what it is, you’re probably just as excited as we are! For those of you who don’t, well get excited! I’m about to share some info on these products to help you understand why we brought them on and why you should make the switch!
THE FOUR MAIN CATEGORIES
Every single person will fall under at least 1 of these 4 basic categories of hair needs, if not all 4 of them! Kerastase products are color coordinated and everything pretty much falls under these 4, with the exception of a few and the addition of a few, but I will touch on those a little bit later. But this is pretty much what you need to know…
Anything green has some sort of reparative action in the product. This is great for your chemically damaged hair and breakage!
Orange is great for anyone who needs a little moisture. This one is great for curly hair, dry hair or heat damaged hair! In the orange line there is a full sub-line for curly hair in particular!
Pink is to add some shine into lifeless or dull hair. Dark pink is specifically targeting color treated hair as well. Pink can really be added to anyone, but is especially great for frizzy, extra long or dull hair. Pink also has a sub line for anti frizz and an oil free sub line for long hair!
Gold=Life Stress & Hair Density
The number one reason for hair loss is… STRESS! This line targets the stress on your hair and helps to make your hair fuller and lively again. It is great for anyone with fine or thinning hair. It is preventative, not curing so keep that in mind too! However, Kerastase does make many products to help that actual growth of your hair as well… If that is something you may be interested in, ask your stylist and they will give you the best recommendation for your particular situation.
So that is the overall basics you should know when shopping Kerastase. They also have styling products of course! They have anything from hairsprays to heat protectants. They’re pretty self explanatory and easy for any of us stylists to give you the best prescription for your styling needs so don’t be afraid to ask!!
I hope this post helped make this line a little easier, especially since all the labels are in French! (soooo fancy, right) Come on in and try some Kerastase! See you next week, don’t forget to subscribe! 😉
